Married to the lovely Geoffrey, my soulmate. I have two fantastic big kids, both married, whom I love and miss every day I'm not with them, but I know they're living and loving their lives and we make up for time when we get together.I now have three granddaughters too...
One year ago ( Sunday)this happened... http://cariadincrete.blogspot.com/2009/05/its-raining-in-my-heart.html I still can't believe it.. hope you're watching Jose...my mate x
How times flies so quickly!!!! It's a year already and I know how you feel. It's almost a year that our cat died and can't keep her out of my mind either.
I feel for you, I have always had cats and each time I have had to say goodbye, part of me has gone with them. Like me your animals are not pets they are family. He is watching you from the animal kingdom sending you loads of love xx
oh that's sad - we have a very elderly dog & it's hard thinking he won't have long left. Can't wait to hear when Ernest arives ! He's a little Devil you know !
Have just read last years post and had a cry with you - we lost our last dog very suddenly to illness which was bad enough but I imagine the shock for you was a hundred fold - nearly three years later my heart isn't mended, Snap helps but a bit of me is still with Ben. Take it easy and pamper yourself at this anniversary, watch a sad movie and have a good cry and enjoy all those HAPPY memories! My thoughts are with you xx
So sad, I've a big lump in my throat. Poor little chap. I'm sure his days with you were the best though. Sorry about confusing you with my blog post, it was a tutorial for a friend and then I deleted it. lol. Love Fi x
Hi Jude, I found your blog via menopausal musings, as I plan to follow Ernst's adventures. I read your post from a year ago. That really is so very sad about Jose. Our pets truly become part of the family, and we feel their loss deeply. He will always live in your heart. Bless you, SueXX
Jude, I read this when you first posted it, and went on to read last year's post. It made me so sad I didn't know what to write, only that I understand how you felt about Jose. Sometimes the connection is so strong it transcends species. I'm glad for him that you were there with him.

Oh, I remember, it is so hard. Keep him in your heart, never can leave there.
I'm so sorry to read this and hear of your loss. I can only imagine the pain you felt and the ache that is still there.
((((((big hugs sweetie))))))
