Even though we are in the middle of November, the veggy plots are looking good
and the oranges are so colourful.
There are many of these small windmills around here but only a handful are in working order sadly.
These chaps look like they're having a great time, shame the rest of the taverna is empty!
Some of the older olive trees are amazing, very sculptural

waiting to be sketched and painted sometime..
The olives have enjoyed the rain we have been having over the last week. They are swelling really well now and should be ready to be harvested in January.

What a delightful walk! Thanks for taking us along. The landscape is bursting with life and everything seems well with the world. What a lovely place to live!
Must confuse the hell out of the mail man (if there is one)...
What is that big green fruit in the tree? I am looking to find a fruit that I ate 40 yrs ago in Spain that was shaped like that, was yellow outside and when cut open had large round fat black seeds and the most delicious soft pulp I have ever eaten then or since.
Your photos are beautiful, I enjoyed them all. the olives need to be cured right? Do you do that too? They remind me of my time in Israel.
Jude, your pictures are so lovely. You must be having the time of your life living there. I'll think of you and your January harvests when we are covered in snow this winter.
Oh such lovely photographs! I love the olive groves, the old stonework and the beautiful worn shutters (my favourite).
Jude, I noticed today that you flagged my blog as a follower, and I'm so happy to meet you! I love your blog. What an interesting place and so different for you than Cornwall! The photos are delightful and I will be back.
Oh I do wish I was there!!!
