I'm still here, just!
Firstly, I've designed, made and posted the invitations to the wedding of Bethan and Matt.
We are now getting a steady flow of replies.
Then, I spent a week sleeping away from home with this stunning view from my bedroom. This is early morning, just as the sun was rising and I was going to swim in the pool. Just before you all get the wrong idea, no, I wasn't on holiday..I was working!! Ha, ha! What a life, hmm??
Here's Dewi, he came running in with this dangling from his jaws!!
The neighbour was plucking a cockeral and gave Dewi this to chew on. The puppy is having teething problems at the moment and at one time last week barely had a tooth in his mouth, so he's enjoying sucking this to bits.
Last, this gorgeous flower is the caper. It's rampant in the countryside. I've picked a jar full of the buds and pickled them. It's the first time I've done this so I'll let you know how they turn out.
It's rather warm now so I'm walking at 6.30 am. Dewi and I now do about 7 to 7.50kms and get back just in time to say bye to Geoff as he heads off for the day.
I've not blogged for a while but I've been popping in to see what's going on...
Take care.

I want to know what kind of a job gets you that view????
Missed you and hope all is well
Tough job you have! Seriously - I could take it off of your hands for awhile so you could have a rest!
Beautiful pictures. Nice to see you back!
Jude, what a lovely design! The palm tree has just the right feel for an important and not overly formal event. I would love to have stationary ...you remember that?...with the design...I love the color contrast, too. I have never in my life seen a caper flower, though I had some yesterday with cream cheese on crackers. Thank you for posting the photograph. What a sweet speckled baby Dewi! I bet he keeps you moving on your morning walk, Jude. Your bedroom view...from a work space???...is so relaxing. I wonder how you get anything done. <3
Hi Jude, Nice to see you. It looks like you sure have been busy. The wedding invitations are gorgeous! What an exciting time. What a view! Looks like a tough job :)
wedding planning excitement...working in beautiful surroundings...life is good.
Beautiful designs, Jude. Just beautiful. Lucky Dewi to be living in a country where nothing is wasted. Thanks for posting the picture of the caper flower.... hadn't a clue what they looked like. Let us know what the bottled ones are like when you open them. . X

Hello Jude! I've come to your blog several times and I sit and gaze at that blue, blue beautiful water and have to tell you how relaxing it is! Thank you and sorry I didn't leave a comment before, but I have seriously enjoyed stopping by. Great to see you back --oh yeah what kind of job we all want to know. ;)

OOH the word verification is 'bolog' is that when one writes a load of bologs on one's bolog?
We'll all want a job that comes with a view like that!
The wedding invitation is very pretty - good for you for designing it!
Oh for a job like yours - do tell what were you doing? Mind you with that view - what does it matter!
Ewww! Don't dogs have the worst taste! But I guess it'll stop him chewing your chair legs.

I'm sure the invitations are keeping you busy. They look good! I've never seen caper flowers, and so it's amazing to see them in the wild like this. You really do live in heaven. :)
