Thanks Jude! Mmm that water looks lovely - I could just have a paddle in it...and then sit and eat some mizithra, it sounds delicious! As you may tell - I've fallen of the diet wagon (again!) Off to my brothers wedding tommorrow up in Sunderland, then all the way back down to Cornwall on Sunday (Yipee!) Not long now till your daughters?

have a good rest jude
here a few ways to preserve tomatoes:
1. puree them (try omitting the skin), bag them in appropriate amounts (liquid and pulp ok together), and freeze
2. http://organicallycooked.blogspot.com/2008/07/tomato-sauce-for-winter.html
(you are supposed to put them in a canning bath after that, but i never do, and i still have lots of lovely tomato sauce in jars, lasting me till june)
