Friday Shoot Out

Things beginning with M
That's the subject for the 'Friday Shoot Out'
So, first photo, above, is My Mountain Village (but also, for the eagle eyed amongst you, there's a M in them there mountains!!)
Second, above, Manifold. This is the contraption that all the water pipes from the main supply start from to water everyone's vegetable plots. Each has a water meter and a lock.
Next is Marble, this is embedded in our front door. It's a very old hand-made marble and glows when the sun shines through it. The shadows are the grape vine outside.
Lastly, this is Maria, with her sisters, chatting in the courtyard.

Thank you for helping celebrate the birth of my granddaughter Matilda with the letter M.

Aren't Maria and her sisters gorgeous?

Looks like you have made a leap of faith with a new life in Greece ...
I admire your courage!

Cariad is Welsh for sweetheart I think. *smile*

Nice to meet you,

Sarah Lulu

And 'M' is for Maddie. Me, me, me, me, me. Loved your picture of Maria and her sisters and that M hiding out there in the mountains. The manifold could win the Turner Prize. x

Think the marble is a great pic, so unusual. Looks like Maria was having a good chat with her family.

I particularly like Maria and her sisters, I don't know why - they look so contented and good humoured.

I'd like to sit and chat with those ladies! Thanks for your kind words about my dog. The same to you. Sometimes at night my heart feels a bit empty.

That marble is just amazing - how lovely to have that in your door. x

the marble in the door is great - does the sun shine through only in certain seasons or all year around?
