All these have such wonderful names.
They were also found within 2 kilometres of where we live,, mostly on the kerbside or in the olive groves.
Below, can you see, each little cluster looks like a monkey?.....It's a Wavy leaved Monkey Orchid (orchis italica)

Gorgeous photo's x
wow. pretty..
Love the orchids - well, all of the flowers, they're wonderful.
I popped in to see Carol at the Sloop Craft Market today, her new outlet is up and running with lots of painted wooden pieces - such as kitchen roll holders, pretty boxes, salt pigs etc, and B/W photos by Richard for sale. She was most impressed that we'd made contact via Blogger (via Jackie)and that in turn prompted my visit.
She said that Richard is in the process of setting up a 'Sloop Craft Market' blog so you'll be able to view them and their 'crafty' neighbours very soon. Best wishes. Lesley
Aliens and alien babies in grow bags. Again, please stop misleading us.
Stunning pictures Jude. You must be in heaven this time of year.
Not sure when I'll get round to setting up the blog. I am going to set up a Sloop 40th Anniversary Facebook group too. There are a lot of people on FB that come to St Ives on holiday, I think it's a good (cheap)way to let a few more people know you're there.
