Time to say Goodbye....

Ernest has been busy packing this week, I am joining him on a flight to Gatwick on Friday (just to make sure he gets there!!) Just look at all the goodies he's got, his home as a wonderful lavendar bag in it too so the aroma is gorgeous.

He'll then make his way to Wipso
I do hope her eye is better by then, she'll need all her wits about her to keep Ernest in check...

We've had so much fun with him but it's time to move on now.

I love hollyhocks and we have many of them around here.
Don't you think they look like fabric?
Yammas! to you 2, we had a wonderful week with you, hope to see you over here again very soon.

Your hollyhocks are beautiful. I grew them one year at our other house and they are so delicate. I sort of miss them. May have to plant some more.
Safe journey to you and Ernest!

  14. Oh what fun you have had with Ernest. What a lucky well travelled lad he is too. I'm sure he'll enjoy his time with Wipso too even though there is sure to be less sun! Perhaps I can take his place??
    Your Hollyhocks are glorious!

  16. You're right about Hollyhocks looking like fabric. I think they resemble raw silk.

  19. Hi Jude -

So very lovely to hear from you & Huge Congratulations on the arrival of Lyris (what a lovely name!) It must be very special being a Grandma for the first time.

Nights? Boo-Hiss! I worked them all the time after my first baby, and through my second pregnancy (in that hot summer of 2003) They can be knackering.

We've been to Cornwall & I thought of you when we went to Fowey (although I avoided it on Regatta week).

Take care - Hope to see you post again soon.

    Lx
